GANGARMPUR UDAAN, a pioneer child developmental initiative in South Dinajpur of West Bengal, India. Being habitat of a backward and remote district, the children with special needs are often deprived to get proper opportunities. Keeping it in mind we established a public charitable nonprofit organization "Gangarampur UDAAN" and registered under the registration of society act, 1961 vide reg no S/2L/65180 of 2018-2019. We stretched out helping hands to underprivileged and differently able child both in physical and cognitive aspect, to give them full opportunity to blossom and for their inclusive development, by then they can fit themselves in mainstream society. We are focussing on early identification and early intervention. Every kind of disability be it physical, mental and cognitive stages are taken care in this institute in a comprehensive and careful manner. Our team comprise of pediatricians, child psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, physiotherapists, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapist and art and music therapists. There are many families with low socio-economic backgrounds. In view of poor socio-economic condition should not pose any obstacles in path of development of special child, we give them services free of cost.

Although the magnitude is very large but we see the tip of iceberg due to lack of awareness among society and also a social stigma to many parents in our locality. Gangarampur Udaan arranges campaigns and awareness programs about the early intervention for special child in different area. It also aranges vareity of social and cultural programmes involving special children and their parents
